ULYSSES Journeys offer young composers and performers the opportunity to take part in courses, workshops and residencies, but also to have concrete working experiences, through commissions and concerts.

Mixtur Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop celebrates its 10th edition! The workshop is a pillar of Festival Mixtur: an international meeting point where participants have the chance to work with a renowned composers and performers.

Since 2021, the workshop has been part of the ULYSSES Project and involves the participation of two young ULYSSES composers who actively participate in all the workshop activities as part of their Journey.

Among teachers are Miguel AZGUIME, Agustí CHARLES, Hanna HARTMAN, Ramon HUMET, Elena MENDOZA, Oxana OMELCHUK, Bethany YOUNGE, Lucas FAGIN, Isabel MUNDRY, Hèctor PARRA and Reiko YAMADA.

The workshops also host three young composers selected in the framework of their ULYSSES Journeys for Composers: Pablo Aldoni Gómez Olabarria, Boris Loginov and Adrian Mocanu.
