ULYSSES Journeys offer young composers and performers the opportunity to take part in courses, workshops and residencies, but also to have concrete working experiences, through commissions and concerts.

Festival Mixtur offers a variety of workshops for performers every year given by internationally renowned musicians. Young performers work on reference pieces from the contemporary repertoire, as well as miniatures written by the Composition Workshop students. The workshops culminate with a concert as part of the festival’s official programme.

This year’s workshops will be led by artists Carin Levin (flute) and Eric-Maria Couturier (cello).

In 2023, two young performers have been selected to participate in the framework of their ULYSSES Journeys for performers: Mar Sala Romagosa (Flute) and Nicolò Neri (Cello).
