Concert Ligeti reloaded with the students of the Manresa Municipal Music Conservatory

This year Festival Mixtur invites students from Manresa Municipal Conservatory of Music to take part in the festival that explores the György Ligeti sound universe. They will be accompanied by the Catalan composer Joan Arnau Pàmies and work under the direction of Celeste Alías.

Pàmies has received a commission to create a work inspired by Ligeti’s vocal music and adapted for intermediate level students. The work is the result of the collaboration between the composer and the previous work sessions held before the summer with the students and their conductor Celeste Alías.

The composer himself will give a short presentation of the work just before the concert.
