Dates: July 4 – 9, 2023
Location: Viitasaari, Finland
The composer course consists of public lectures and private student lessons. It is possible to apply for the course with the option to compose a new piece for a chamber ensemble formation that will be premiered during the last days of the festival, or not.
On the last day of the course,all new pieces will be performed by Riot Ensemble, Norrbotten NEO and Quatuor Bozzini.
Composer Pilar Miralles has been selected to take part in Liza Lim’s composition course as part of her ULYSSES Journey. Her piece will be performed by Norrbotten NEO on July 9.
