ULYSSES Journeys offer young composers and performers the opportunity to take part in courses, workshops and residencies, but also to have concrete working experiences, through commissions and concerts.

The Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop offers one-to-one lessons, reading sessions, Miniature premieres, conferences and plenty of activities involving this year’s Festival programme, which will comprise this unique programme, accompanied by a teaching staff of great international prestige. The workshop is a pillar of Festival Mixtur: an international meeting point where participants have the chance to work with a renowned composers and performers.

The workshop is part of the ULYSSES Project and, in 2024, involves the participation of four ULYSSES-endorsed composers,: Filippo Lepre, Tara Jovana Valkonen, Teoniki Rozynek and Pilar Miralles, who will actively participate in all the workshop activities as part of their Journeys.
