REPLAY CULTURAL HERITAGE: MIXTUR AT PRIMARY SCHOOL (III)
Festival Mixtur invites students and teachers from different primary schools to get involved with the festival each year. The general objective of “Mixtur at primary school” is to introduce contemporary music to children and music teachers at the Primary Education stage.
In this activity students from the school Teixidores de Gràcia of Barcelona will attend Sidera Saxophone Quartet’s open rehearsal of the work “Knossos”, by composer Alberto Posadas. During the preparation period, students carry out listening, analysis and sound experimentation activities, guided by their music teacher. At the same time, questions are raised that will then be addressed to the performers. When attending the activity, the children will participate actively in the rehearsal, by asking questions and interacting with the performer.
